My name is Ib Halling and I have worked as a portrait photographer in Roskilde since 2004. My passion is to create portraits that show the person — not just a perfect expression, but the personality behind it. As a specialist in portrait photography I focus on helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera so the results are natural, intimate and useful for both personal and professional situations. My approach is simple and human: we start with a conversation about your needs, choose a location that suits you — whether in a studio, at your home or out in nature — and create a calm atmosphere during the shoot. I work with light, composition and patience so even the most camera-shy people can relax and reveal genuine expressions. At the start of the session I take test shots so you can choose which images should be fully edited and delivered in high resolution. As a portrait photographer I cover several types of portrait work: personal portraits, family photography and business portraits. Portraits intended for professional use — for example LinkedIn or a company website — receive particular attention so that face, body language and context reflect your role and brand. Although my main focus is portrait photography, I also offer solutions for smaller commercial assignments such as employee headshots, where the image’s intended use and format are planned in advance. I am a mobile photographer and am happy to come to you in Roskilde and the surrounding area.
