I’m Mikael from Boel Media — a portrait photographer based in Roskilde with a clear mission: to create portraits that genuinely communicate personality and professionalism. With experience since 2013, I focus on portrait photography for individuals and businesses, with corporate headshots and LinkedIn photos as core strengths. My approach is simple: reassurance, preparation and an honest visual expression. I believe the best portraits are made at eye level — when the subject feels relaxed and guided. Every session starts with an informal conversation about your goals, desired look and context (website, LinkedIn, press or corporate presentation). On the day I prioritise clear communication, simple direction and considered lighting, so we capture the best images straight from the camera. As a portrait photographer I offer flexibility: shoots can take place at your workplace, on location or in controlled lighting environments depending on your needs. For corporate work I focus on aligning the portraits with your company’s visual identity — a consistent thread in style, color and crop ensures employee portraits are credible and recognisable across channels. Retouching is careful but respectful. I aim to preserve the authentic expression and make only the necessary adjustments so your images appear crisp and professional — available in both colour and black & white if desired. I also guide camera-shy individuals through posing and facial expression so everyone feels confident in front of the camera.
