My name is Daniel De La Cruz and I run Dafotograf from Klinteby Frihed, based in Sorø. As a specialised portrait photographer, I focus on creating images that show who you really are — without artificial staging. My philosophy is simple: a strong portrait emerges when you feel safe, relaxed and free to be yourself. That is why I put great care into creating a calm and trusting atmosphere from our first contact until the delivery of your images. My approach to portrait photography is creative and free from rigid poses. I work both on location and in the studio, choosing backgrounds and lighting that bring out your expression — whether that’s an old wall, a natural setting or your own home if that feels right. During the session I guide you gently with suggestions for movement and positioning, but I’m always looking first and foremost for the spontaneous moments that give life to the image. Portrait sessions should be enjoyable, engaging and creative — and that energy shows in the final photographs. I also provide business and profile portraits for LinkedIn, CVs or company use. Here I combine a professional look with naturalness so your portrait communicates credibility and personality without losing authenticity. Although portrait photography is my main focus, I often photograph families and wedding couples as part of my broader work — always with the same sense of timing, composition and storytelling. The price includes professional image editing and delivery via a private online gallery or Dropbox, so you can easily download and share your photos.
