As a portrait photographer in Odense, I draw on my education and many years of experience as a photojournalist to create portraits that feel honest and work well in professional communication. My focus is always on the person and the audience — I work so the image clearly communicates who the person is and what the organisation stands for. My approach to portrait photography is calm, curious and purposeful. I don’t aim for artificial poses; instead I create a conversation and a safe environment so that even camera-shy people can relax and appear naturally in front of the camera. The photojournalistic background means I have a keen eye for the unexpected moment, the right atmosphere and the small details that give a portrait authenticity. I work both with a mobile portrait studio — where I come to companies — and in my studio in Odense. For businesses I produce corporate portraits and staff photos that create a cohesive, professional look for websites, LinkedIn profiles and other communications channels. When a project requires it, I also consider image storytelling as part of a larger communications setup so that the portrait fits together with text, web design and campaign material.
