My name is Nadia Schmidt Larsen and I run Østerskovhus from Haderslev. As a portrait photographer my clear goal is to create images that show the person behind the profile — not a polished version of who you think you should be. My approach is grounded in honest, credible visual storytelling; I favour a strong image over heavy retouching. When companies and individuals choose me as their portrait photographer, they get a specialist who understands both the power of a single portrait and its role within a broader visual identity. I provide portraits and headshots for LinkedIn, corporate profiles, employee photos and press use, always working with an eye to ensure the images align with your tone of voice and brand. My work is based on presence and calm. Before the camera comes out I take time to hear your story: What should the image communicate? Who will see it first? This initial conversation builds trust and direction — and often means that even people who are nervous in front of the camera end up with authentic, natural images. I guide posing, wardrobe choices and small tricks to help you find a relaxed expression (I also use a few light-hearted prompts to put people at ease). In editing I keep the style simple and natural. The aim is a portrait that is recognisable and versatile across platforms — from LinkedIn and websites to newsletters and press materials.
