I am photographer Kaj Nielsen from Fredericia — specialized in portrait photography with a simple principle: your wishes are my priority. For me, portraits are about capturing personality and natural moments rather than stiff poses. I create a calm, friendly atmosphere so you quickly feel comfortable in front of the camera. My interest in making images goes back more than 45 years. I began with 35 mm black-and-white film and darkroom work and have since developed my craft into modern digital photography and image processing. This long experience gives me a reliable eye for light, expression and composition — essential elements in portrait photography, whether we are photographing family photos, children’s portraits or individual headshots. How I work: you choose the location. If you have at least a 3 × 3 metre clear floor area, I’m happy to come to your home with my equipment — lights, backgrounds and a mobile studio — so we can make photos in familiar surroundings. Alternatively we can meet outdoors in nature or at a favourite spot in Fredericia. During the session I guide you gently and positively, helping with posture and small variations so we capture both relaxed and more structured images. Deliverables are provided digitally after careful editing. My style emphasizes naturalness, warmth and authentic expression — images you will return to over the years to recall special memories. I also offer professional profile photos and simple corporate portraits for LinkedIn and company profiles, though my primary focus remains private portrait photography.
