My name is Jens Erik Dahlmann (known as Buller). As a specialised portrait photographer based in Fredericia, my main focus is creating portraits that feel honest, professional and personal. After completing my training at Key Point Photography Academy with Kim Skovsby in 2020, I concentrated my energy on studio techniques, beauty, portrait and model photography — and have since invested in my own photo studio in Fredericia. My approach is about creating a good atmosphere and a relaxed, welcoming studio environment. I work calmly and provide clear guidance so that even those who feel camera-shy are put at ease. Through a mix of conversation, simple direction and considered lighting setups I capture natural expressions and authentic moments suitable for personal portraits, professional profile pictures or artistic projects. As a portrait photographer I offer solutions for both private clients and businesses — from warm, natural portraits to crisp LinkedIn headshots and professional facial portraits. My strength is the control the studio gives over light and detail, resulting in a clean, professional look where the personality of the face has space to show. For commercial and corporate assignments I emphasise an expression that communicates trustworthiness and professionalism, tailored to the platform the image will be used on. A distinctive part of my portrait work is the option to include snakes in portraits. I own several ball pythons (royal pythons), and all photography involving snakes is always conducted on the snakes’ terms — their safety and comfort come first. This offers the opportunity for both dramatic and gentle images for those who want an unusual, memorable portrait. Beyond my core portrait work I also shoot family photography, fashion and art projects as secondary services, though my profile is clearly specialised in portraiture. In the studio you may meet my assistant Katrine Windeballe, who is great with children and supports larger sessions. My goal is always to deliver images that feel right for you — technically well-crafted, but above all human.
