Under the direction of Thomas Dohn—trained as a portrait and fashion photographer—Smil has specialised in meeting children, pupils and clubs at eye level. Our workflow is simple and designed for busy institutions and parents: we send information to parents, select photographers with special experience in children’s portraits and conduct sessions with respect for the school day or the club’s training schedule. After the photo session, each pupil or participant receives a personal access code to our webshop where parents can easily view, select and order digital files or prints — no preorders and no unnecessary paperwork. We offer free retakes if a child is absent or if the gallery does not meet expectations. Although portraits are our core, Smil also provides staff and team portraits as a complement to school and club photography. Most schools and clubs find that professional portraits strengthen both visual identity and team spirit. As part of our collaborations, we also provide free team and coach photos to clubs.
