My name is Theis and I run Theis Poulsen Photography based in Herning. Since 2007 I have specialised in portrait photography, focusing on creating images that convey both personality and professionalism. My portraits are used by executives, teams, models and private clients — for LinkedIn, CVs, press, websites and social media. My approach is simple: great images start with a good conversation. Before a shoot I discuss the expression you want and how the images will be used. That allows me to tailor lighting, background and retouching so the result fits your brand or personal style. In the studio I work with controlled light and a calm atmosphere, while on-location shoots make use of natural light and the character of the place to create authentic portraits. I prioritise making people feel relaxed in front of the camera. With calm, direct guidance and a focus on small, natural movements, I capture the genuine look and body language — the elements that make a portrait memorable and trustworthy. I also offer professional image processing and retouching so each file is delivered in high resolution and ready for print or web use. As a portrait photographer in Herning I’m happy to visit companies on site to photograph corporate portraits and team photos, and I also welcome clients to my centrally located studio. My images have been used in catalogs, campaigns, newspapers and online — and I always adapt delivery to your needs, from digital headshots to large-format print.
