My name is Henrik Jensen and, as Værløsefotografen, I specialize in portrait photography — my goal is to create portraits that feel genuine and stand the test of time. I love helping people relax in front of the camera; in those moments small flashes of expression and personal character appear, and those are exactly the moments I pursue in every image. My working method is personal and uncomplicated. Before the shoot we discuss the desired style, location and mood — some prefer studio portraits with controlled lighting, others favour natural light on a location in Farum or the surrounding area. On the day of the shoot we start with a short introduction, set up lighting as needed and take plenty of time to find the angles and poses that suit you. I work calmly, with a touch of humour, so even those who dislike posing often end up saying: “that was more fun and easier than I thought.” I don’t compromise on technical or aesthetic quality: all images are professionally edited and delivered in high digital quality, ready to use on social media, websites or in print.
