I am Rasmus Sigvaldi, a portrait photographer based in Charlottenlund. My primary ambition is to create portraits that feel truthful — images that reveal personality while maintaining a strong visual identity. My background in fashion photography has given me a keen eye for light, composition and style, but in portrait photography I always seek the simplicity and authenticity that make a portrait memorable. My starting point is that good portraits are born in dialogue — I guide without dominating, and I blend classical portrait techniques with the more documentary approach I developed in fashion, commercial and documentary projects. How do I work? The process typically begins with a short conversation about the intended use of the images: professional photos for company materials, an updated LinkedIn picture, or personal portraits for private use. We choose the location — studio, outdoors in natural light, or a place with special meaning — and plan the mood and clothing so they match the desired expression. During the session I focus on calm and presence; I use simple direction and create space for natural moments so the portrait session feels safe and unforced. What will you receive?
